How it works

One escrow, two deposits, zero trust required

BridgeEscrow is the custodian for the trade. Neither party has to send first and hope; both send into escrow, and the release happens only when everything checks out.

Released to the seller

  1. Step 1

    Create the escrow

Choose whether you buy or sell Bitcoin, then enter the BTC amount and your own USDT price, the deposit deadline, and any conditions.

  2. Step 2

    Verify your identity

Upload your passport and personal details. Documents are encrypted and reviewed before funds can move.

  3. Step 3

    Sign the agreement

A full escrow agreement is generated from your terms. You sign it by typing or drawing, and the exact version is fingerprinted with SHA-256.

  4. Step 4

    Deposit your side

Your escrow gets its own deposit address. The seller sends BTC on Bitcoin; the buyer sends USDT on TRON (TRC20).

  5. Step 5

    Invite the counterparty

A secure link goes to the other party’s email. They review your verified passport and signed agreement, then sign and deposit.

  6. Step 6

    Chain confirmation

Deposits are credited only after 3 Bitcoin confirmations or 19 TRON confirmations, matched to the right address and token contract.

  7. Step 7

    Release to both sides

Two separate staff members approve the settlement. BTC goes to the buyer and USDT goes to the seller, net of the agreed fee.

Fees

One simple fee. 2.50%, shared.

Each side pays 1.25% of the asset it deposits, deducted at release. No spread, no hidden markup, and no charge if the escrow is refunded before release.

  • Written into your agreement. The fee is fixed when the escrow is created and printed in the signed agreement.
  • Calculated in exact units. Fees are computed in satoshis and 6-decimal USDT units, so nothing is rounded against you.
  • Network fees are separate. You pay the network fee on your own deposit. On release, the Bitcoin miner fee comes out of the BTC sent; BridgeEscrow pays the TRON energy for USDT.

Security

Built like a vault, run like a bank desk

Custody, identity, and release controls are layered so that no single mistake, and no single person, can move your funds.

Protected accounts

Hashed passwords, verified email, and HttpOnly sessions. Every staff account signs in with an authenticator code.

Encrypted identity files

Passports are encrypted with AES-256-GCM in private storage. They are never emailed, and every view is logged.

Chain-verified deposits

Deposits are checked on-chain against the escrow address, the amount, and the required confirmations. USDT must come from the official TRC20 contract.

Segregated custody

Every escrow has its own deposit addresses. A double-entry ledger keeps customer balances separate from company funds.

Dual-control releases

One person proposes a settlement and a different person approves it. Opening a dispute freezes the release.

Complete audit trail

Agreements are versioned and hashed, signatures are timestamped, and every administrative action is recorded.

Peer-to-peer traders

Trade with someone you have never met without either side sending first.

OTC desks and businesses

Settle larger BTC and USDT blocks with a signed agreement and a clear audit trail.

Compliance-minded clients

Every party is identified, screened, and bound to the same signed terms.

Both sides of the trade. The seller deposits BTC and the buyer deposits USDT (TRC20) into addresses controlled by BridgeEscrow. BTC is released to the buyer and USDT to the seller only after both deposits are confirmed and the agreement’s conditions are met.
